My life story: I am 2 years old and I arrived at Cadela Carlota’s shelter in November 2024. My second family had to give me up because the small house we all lived in was owned by a landlord who wouldn’t allow me to stay. My second family were willing to move house to keep me, but they were unable to afford the rent on all the other houses that were available at the time. They all cried a lot when they left me at the shelter. They were my second family because my first owner couldn’t keep me either.

My temperament: I am a bit clumsy. I have a lot of energy and I love to jump and run. It’s because I’m so happy when I see people - I can’t help myself. The volunteers say it’s not easy to walk me, because I get so excited. I don’t mean any harm and I need someone to teach me how to control my enthusiasm. I’d love to have an active family, one that takes me out for lots of exercise and has space for me to run. I am willing to learn and I know I’ll be a great dog for whoever adopts me.
